Pakistan Army's affiliated department Frontier Works Organization (FWO) plans to set up 7500tpd production line at Bandi Muneem, Haripur KPK, Pakistan. The organisation  added that the department is in the process to appoint a consultant to render consultancy services for the proposed project.

FWO is a major civil engineering construction company of Pakistan, which is expected to use the output of the plant for its own use and for distribution in the local market.

Pakistan's cement industry is running at a high capacity utilisation rate, which touched 95 per cent during the 1HFY17-18. It is not only meeting country's cement demands but also exporting to Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka and African countries.
