Cement deliveries in Switzerland declined 3.6 per cent in the 2Q19 when compared to the 2Q18, according to Cemsuisse, the Swiss cement association. Sales in the April-June quarter 2019 came in at 1.176Mt. In the 2Q18 cement sales reached 1.22Mt.

In the first quarter sales increased 4.8 per cent YoY to 0.874Mt and when compared with the 1H18, total cement sales in the first half of 2019 have slipped by 0.2 per cent.
