Spain-based La Araña cement plant, owned by FYM-HeidelbergCement, has received approval from the town’s planning department to build a new slate crusher. The EUR3m project is expected to reduce noise and dust emissions from the operations.
The new equipment will replace two existing crushers, which are around 60 years old. The assembly of the crusher will start at the beginning of next year with commissioning to follow in summer.
