Tajikistan exported 1.14Mt of cement in 2018, representing a value of US$65.4m. In 2017 exports stood at 970,100t and had a value of US$49.5m.The country exports cement to Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Meanwhile, preliminary work began on the construction of a cement plant in Kubodiyon district, Khatlon – set to become the largest in the country, according to Azer News.
