The Cement Demand Index has seen an 8.5 per cent increase YoY in September, but slipped 0.2 per cent MoM, according to data published by Oficemen.

In the October 2017-September 2018 period, it is estimated that Spain has consumed 13Mt of cement with growth attributed to the residential sector.

Clinker and cement exports continue to fall for the 16th month running. In August they fell by 8.4 per cent YoY.
