Cement deliveries in Switzerland  slipped 1.7 per cent YoY to 1,144,790t in the third quarter of 2018, according to Cemsuisse, the country’s cement association. In 3Q17 1,164,378t of cement was dispatched.

In the January-September 2018 period dispatches remained largely stable at 3,201,205t when compared with sales of 3,205,171t in 9M17.

The share of deliveries to ready-mix concrete plants has risen to 72.2 per cent  while 20.6 per cent of cement is sold to concrete plants on major construction sites.
