LafargeHolcim Côte d’Ivoire has launched a new grey cement, Ciment Bélier SuperBéton, developed for heavy prefabrication and very high performance concretes. The new cement goes beyond the regular 42,5N strength, up to 52,5N.
The new cement, designed by LafargeHolcim Côte d’Ivoire’s Cement Applications Laboratory, has an increased compatibility with various types of admixtures, including set retarders, plasticisers and hardening accelerators. Its use reduce the rate of breakage and increases daily production as well as generating savings of five per cent, according to a company press release.
