Switzerland’s domestic cement deliveries has increased 2.9 per cent YoY to 1.22Mt in 2Q18, returning to positive growth for the first time since 4Q16, according the country’s cement association, Cemsuisse. In the first half of 2018, deliveries advanced 0.8 per cent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
However, cement deliveries by rail has decreased by 0.9 per cent to 51.6 per cent of the total.
