Despite issuing a request to relocate last year, authorities of Vietnam’s Nghe An province have now granted approval for Vicem Hoang Mai Cement JSC to develop its Hoang Mai 2 facility in the area, according to Viet Nam News.

Therefore, the company will construct the plant in the originally intended location of Hoang Mai 2 industrial park, Quynh Vinh commune.

Once fully operational, the plant will have a 0.92Mta clinker capacity and a capability to produce 1.15Mta of cement.
