Turkey's cement exports rose 6.9 per cent YoY to 8Mt in 2017, according to the Turkish Cement Manufacturers’ Association (TCMB).
Turkey produced 81Mt of cement and clinker in 2017, up 6.8 per cent when compared with 2016. Of this total, 9.9 per cent was exported, said the TCMB.
Most exports were destined for the USA, but the largest increase in export volumes was to Haiti.
