Bolivia’s Cementos Itacamba is preparing a second cement and clinker shipment for export at the end of this month following the success of the first export delivery to Argentina and Paraguay.
The second shipment will carry 4000t of cement, an identical amount when compared with the first one, and is set for Argentina via the Paraguay-Paraná waterway.
In terms of clinker, the company expects to export 160,000t this year following the opening of the Yacuses plant, which enabled the company to shift from being an importer to an exporter.
