Fives FCB has commissioned the second FCB Horomill® unit at the Tula grinding plant of Cementos Fortaleza SA de CV, Mexico, as part of the new 3300tpd line under construction in Hidalgo state, Mexico. This follows the successful commissioning of the first unit on 11 December 2016.

The EPC contract awarded to Fives FCB mid-2015 includes the design, supply, erection and commissioning of the production line including; FCB kiln, FCB Zero-NOx Preca, FCB preheater and Pillard Novaflam® burner, FCB Horomill® and FCB TSV™ classifiers, FCB B-mill and associated FCB TSV™ classifier

Commissioning of the FCB Horomill® raw meal grinding plant and FCB kiln, next milestones of the project, are scheduled during the 2Q17.
