Egypt's National Company for Construction and Development (NCCD) is to build a cement plant due to the high price of locally-produced cement.
The new facility will be aimed at covering cement requirements for the company's subsidiaries, Al Mal News reported, citing NCCD's chairman. The state-run firm is currently evaluating the best timing for the project. NCCD has 20 subsidiaries including nine general contractors.
