A new cement plant is to be constructed in the Aravan district of Osh province, Kyrgyz Republic.

The main investor in the 500tpd facility is a Chinese company, according to local press reports citing a statement from the press service of the the regional administration.

"The agreement between the Chinese company and the Head of Alya Anar rural district stipulates that locals will be employed," the statement said.
