Sinoma International announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sinoma Construction signed a US$276.9m general contract with United Cement Company of Nigeria for a new 6250tpd line.
The project is located in Calabar, Nigeria. Sinoma Construction will be responsible for equipment and steel structure supply, design, installation, civil construction, commissioning, training, etc in the whole process from mine crushing to cement shipping.
The project is divided into two phases: grinding mill and clinker line. The cement mill phase will take 27 months after the contract takes effect and the clinker line phase will take 32 months after the contract takes effect.
