Attock Cement Ltd and the Commodity Company of UAE have signed an agreement for the export of 40,000t of cement clinker from Pakistan for UAE and Qatar markets, a press release said.  This would be the first export from Pakistan to the Middle East.  Attock Cement was the first Pakistani company to export to Bangladesh in 1995.  At present Pakistan is exporting cement primarilt to Afghanistan.
