According to “Tehran Times” in the first three months of the current Iranian year, some 900,000t of cement was exported from this mid-eastern province, said head of the provincial organization of industries and mines. Esrafil Ahmadiyeh stated that Shahrud Cement Plant produces 68,000t of cement every month, and about 60% of the plant’ production is exported to other provinces.
